Welcome to Dr Riette de Lauwere’s Private Practice

Riette uses a narrative approach with her therapy with adults. With children, working from a narrative approach she employs play and art therapy to address behavioural, emotional, or psychological difficulties.
   
The training for her doctoral studies, where psychology and practical theology were integrated, added depth to the therapy.  

Trained in a variety of psychometric assessment batteries, Riette uses these instruments to assist parents in discovering what underlies their child’s scholastic, behavioural or emotional difficulties and addresses such difficulties. Furthermore, she is qualified and experienced in psychological / psychometric assessment of adults.
